The Solomon Schechter Day School of Greater Hartford will honor Rabbi Jim and Nancy Rosen for their contributions to the Greater Hartford community at their 2013 Annual Scholarship event. The event will be held on Wednesday, May 22nd at the Millard Theater on the University of Hartford Campus and will feature the off-Broadway show “A Jew Grows in Brooklyn.” “We are proud to honor the Rosens for their commitment to the Greater Hartford Jewish Community and to Solomon Schechter. Nancy has worked at Schechter for 20 years and Rabbi Rosen has served as classroom Rabbi and in many other capacities at SSDS," said Rabbi Elliot Goldberg. The Rosens’ two daughters, Adina (Class of 2003) and Ariella (Class of 2000), are both Schechter Alumni. Proceeds from the event will benefit Solomon Schechter Day School's Scholarship Fund.
