Splash Pads Open Today In West Hartford
West Hartford officials are opening up the splash pads at three town parks Wednesday due to the higher-than-normal temperatures.

The Town of West Hartford Wednesday morning said it is opening up splash pads at three separate town parks.
With temperatures expected to be in the 90-degree range along with humidity, the town is opening up the splash pads at Beachland Park (847 Quaker Lane), Fernridge Park (561 Fern St.), and Kennedy Park (160 Oakwood Ave.)

Due to pending construction, the splash pads and bathrooms at Wolcott Park (1341 New Britain Ave.) are closed for the season.
