WEST HARTFORD, CT — A century-old house steps from Elizabeth Park leads West Hartford's priciest homes for sale. Three of the five most expensive listings on Zillow.com are new construction, including a condo in West Hartford Center.

No. 1 on the list is 33 Sycamore Road, asking $1,999,000. The 5,211-square-foot house, built in 1917 on nearly an acre, has seven bedrooms, four full bathrooms and one half bathroom. It has a double staircase, soaring ceilings, a wood-burning fireplace, a sunroom, a bluestone patio and a private pool. It has been on Zillow for 85 days.

Just behind it is a new Craftsman-style house to be built at 20 High Ridge Road, listed at $1,595,700. Zillow lists the home at 4,774 square feet on 0.49 acres, while the builder's description calls the plan about 3,500 square feet. It has four bedrooms, three full bathrooms and one half bathroom, a three-car tandem garage and a screened porch. The primary suite has a sitting area and its own coffee bar. It has been on Zillow for 65 days.

Rounding out the top three is new construction at 11 Old Farm Drive, in what the listing calls the town's newest subdivision. It's asking $1,495,000 for 3,400 square feet with five bedrooms, three full bathrooms, and one half bathroom on a quarter-acre, with a bluestone walkway and a covered front porch. It has been on Zillow for 53 days.

No. 4 is 96 Norwood Road, on a tree-lined street, listed at $1,450,000 after a $345,000 price cut on Sept. 11. Built in 1952, the 6,066-square-foot house sits on 0.57 acres. Zillow's listing facts show five bedrooms, six full bathrooms and one half bathroom, although the description mentions seven bedrooms. It has a wet bar, a full Sub-Zero refrigerator, and marble countertops. It has been on Zillow for 71 days.

Closing out the top five is a new condo in West Hartford Center: unit 301 at 2 Arapahoe Road, in the Center Park Place development, asking $1,221,300. The 1,357-square-foot unit has two bedrooms, two full bathrooms and one half bathroom, with Sub-Zero, Wolf and Bosch appliances. The building has a rooftop lounge, and shops and restaurants are a short walk away. It has been on Zillow for 188 days.
