Three New WHPD Officers Now Hitting The Beat

The West Hartford Police Department said three new officers have graduated from the police academy and are now in the field.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — Local police have three new officers on the force and they're now hitting the streets in the town they serve.

The West Hartford Police Department announced recently that Sebastian Sanzaro, Ryan Bobrowiecki and Emanuel Pantanto have graduated from the Hartford Police Academy.

Academy graduation is a requirement before officers begin field training and it comes after being hired by the department.

"All three officers are now on patrol in their field training and evaluation period," wrote the WHPD.

"During this time, they will learn the daily procedures of policing and what it takes to be a West Hartford police officer."
