Tree Crews Swarm West Hartford To Avoid Future Power Outages

WEST HARTFORD, CT — With trees considered the number one cause of outages during storms in Connecticut, crews from the power company are swarming West Hartford to address the issue.

Eversource Energy’s Vegetation Management Tea inspects trees along each circuit and performs and prioritizes tree work to maximize reliability for the greatest number of customers.

A total of 4,322 roadside distribution miles are planned under the 2025 scheduled maintenance in the state.
