UConn Board of Trustees Votes on Future of West Hartford Campus
The satellite campus has spent the last 40 years in West Hartford.

After spending the last 40 years off the corner of Troutbrook Road and Asylum Avenue, UConn’s West Hartford campus will be officially closing and moving to downtown Hartford following a vote by the university’s board of trustees on Wednesday, according to NBC Connecticut.
NBC reports the campus will move to the old Hartford Times building on Prospect Avenue in Hartford and the plan is to restore the historic front of the building, add an atrium, two office and classroom buildings and a courtyard.
UConn is planning on opening the new campus in the fall of 2017.
