WEST HARTFORD, CT — After bargaining throughout the summer, the Congress of Connecticut Community Colleges said Wednesday that the part-time faculty membership unanimously ratified a three-year contract with the University of Hartford. The new contract raises per credit and hourly rates by 9.1 percent over the next three years, starting this semester.

The 4Cs/SEIU union represents the 600 part-time faculty, including part-time faculty at the Community Division School, regular part-time faculty, and adjuncts at UHart.

Part-time faculty are the largest group of employees at the University. Full-time faculty number around 350.
