Unique Fitness Facility Coming To West Hartford

WEST HARTFORD, CT — A unique fitness facility is coming to Blue Back Square in West Hartford. Indoor cycling company Cyclebar has announced that it will open its first West Hartford location in Blue Back Square this winter.

“Cyclebar’s concept offers a state-of-the-art fitness solution that is ideal for West Hartford residents,” Amy Cholawa, marketing director for Blue Back Square, said in a news release. “This is an excellent addition to the experiences people enjoy here at Blue Back Square.”

The dynamic of group cycling continues to win over people looking for fitness solutions across the country. Cyclebar is a “unique, multisensory experience designed for anyone looking for fun, upbeat and challenging workouts,” according to the news release. Blue Back Square’s Cyclebar is located at 55 Memorial Road and holds 46 in a more than 2,400-square-foot space, which includes a workout room, lockers, a sitting area and a reception area. Read more from the news release below:

The instructors blast proprietary, high-energy music into the classes to get hearts pumping. West Hartford residents can choose from a variety of classes, tailored to all fitness and experience levels.

Local franchise owner, Carrie Touchette, is proud to open West Hartford’s first Cyclebar location to the community this winter.

“I have been looking for my next business venture for the last couple of years,” Touchette said. “After taking a trip out to Irvine, California, which is the home of CycleBar corporate headquarters, I knew this was the one. I decided West Hartford was the perfect place because I’m already involved in the community here. Construction is underway and we can’t wait to bring CycleBar to West Hartford in late November or Early December.”

Cyclebar has opened more than 150 locations last year, with another 200 in development. Founders memberships are available for a limited time at a discounted rate of $99 and can be purchased online at WestHartford.Cyclebar.com.
