UnitedHealthcare and the Governor’s Prevention Partnership Host Local High School Students at Job Training Event

UnitedHealthcare and the Governor's Prevention Partnership hosted 70 Local students at UnitedHealthcare's office on Friday, July 21.

Last Friday’s event hosted by UnitedHealthcare and the Governor’s Prevention Partnership brought 70 local high school students to UnitedHealthcare’s Hartford office for a day of career training seminars, job shadowing and other activities.

Students who participated, all local juniors or seniors, heard expert insight from local business leaders on topics ranging from how to secure a first job to how to analyze “big data” in the workplace. Representatives from the Governor’s Prevention Partnership discussed the importance of making healthy decisions and preventing bullying.
