U.S. Trust's Fanelli appointed to Conn. Children's Medical Center board

U.S. Trust is pleased to announce that James W. Fanelli, CFP has been appointed to the Board of Connecticut Children's Medical Center.

U.S. Trust is pleased to announce that James W. Fanelli, CFP has been appointed to the Board of Connecticut Children’s Medical Center.

As the newest member of the Board of The Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, Fanelli will participate in ongoing education, serve on at least two Board committees, and help to raise a large share of the Medical Center’s annual fund. With his extensive board experience Jim is a fitting choice for this role. He has been with Bank of America and predecessor institutions for over 30 years, and he is actively engaged in various local Connecticut markets, business councils and other Connecticut non-profit organizations.

A resident of Avon, Connecticut, Fanelli received a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing and an MBA in Finance from the University of Connecticut. Jim also holds a Certified Financial Planning (CFP) designation.

Jim is an active member of the community and currently serves as Trustee of the Hill-Stead Museum, Board Chair for the National Conference for Community & Justice, Chairman of the Finance Committee St. Ann’s Church of Avon, Member of Finance Committee Golf Club of Avon, member of the Estate and Business Planning Council of Hartford and Member of UNICO. He is also a former Trustee of the CT Rivers Council, Boy Scouts of America, Past Member of the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving Professional Advisory Committee, and Past President of the Golf Club of Avon.
