Vehicle Recovered After Post Office Carjacking In West Hartford
Armed men carjacked a vehicle at a West Hartford post office, police said.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — Armed assailants pulled off a brazen carjacking in West Hartford late last week at a local post office, police said.
According to a police incident report, at 1:36 p.m. Friday, a woman was exiting the U.S. Post Office at the Crossroads Plaza in West Hartford in her car. She was approached by two men, one of which was armed with a handgun, and ordered out of the car, police said.
The vehicle was then stolen, according to an incident report.

The suspects are being described by police as "two Black males," one of which is armed. The woman was not injured, police said.
This incident is being investigated along with several other similar crimes believed to be committed by the same suspects in the greater Hartford area.

According to police, the woman's car and another vehicle involved in the carjacking were recovered, police said.
The West Hartford Police Detective Division is "actively pursuing leads" and is working with other law enforcement agencies in Hartford County to "identify those responsible," police said.
