Vito's Restaurants to Present a Beer and Bacon Dinner

Vito's will be teaming up with Back East Brewing to bring diners an amazing five-course meal.

There really isn’t a better combination than beer and bacon.

And on Nov. 6, diners at Vito’s by the Water will be able to enjoy a delicious five-course beer and bacon infused dinner, presented by Vito’s Restaurants and Back East Brewing.

Vito’s chef/owner Rob Maffucci will be preparing the dinner right before the eyes of the diners.

The cost is $60 per person (plus tax and gratuity) and reservations are required. To make a reservation, call 860-285-8660.

1st Course

Bacon Wrapped Smoked Salmon Sushi

Avocado, smoked salmon, cream cheese, fish roe dressed with a Back East beer glaze and wrapped in bacon.

Paired With: Back East Goldon Ale Shandy with a candied bacon salt rim

2nd Course

Pork Belly Fries

With house aioli.

Paired With: Bac East Ale

3rd Course

Pulled Pork Slider

BBQ sauce made with Back East Beer and locally grown apples. Topped with a Brussel sprout slaw.

Paired With: Back East Porter

4th Course

Grilled Prawns

Over a spinach salad with a warm tomato bacon dressing.

Paired With: Back East Misty Mountain IPA

5th Course

Sea Salt and Caramel Ice Cream

Served in a bacon bowl.

Paired With: Back East Palate Mallet Double IPA
