Wallet Thief Sought In West Hartford
Police are asking for help with identifying a woman who they say is a suspect in connection to several wallet thefts in recent months.
WEST HARTFORD, CT — West Hartford Police are still seeking information on a suspect wanted in connection to the thefts of several wallets in recent months. Police say the woman (pictured in the first two photos) is accused of stealing a purse from a customer at Trader Joe’s on New Britain Avenue on Jan. 17. The woman then went across the street to the Westfarms Mall and attempted to use the victim’s credit card to purchase items.
Police say the woman in the third photo (see below) appears to be the same person from the previous thefts. The most recent photo is from Feb. 25 when police say the woman is accused of stealing a wallet at Whole Foods in the center of town and then used stolen credit cards at the Apple Store and Macy’s at Westfarms Mall.

Anyone with information regarding these cases is asked to call either Officer David Santora or Officer Ryan Dudzinski at 860-523-5203.

“West Hartford Police would also like to remind people to keep valuables on their person at all times,” Lt. Michael Perruccio said. “It is common for thieves to look for unattended items in shopping carts and take them when the owners’ backs are turned.”
