Wastewater Floods West Hartford Homes, Road
Several residents are dealing with significant flooding, including wastewater spilling out onto the road, in West Hartford.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — Residents on Linbrook Road in West Hartford are dealing with significant flooding issues, including wastewater spilling out onto the road, on Wednesday, according to multiple reports.
The Hartford Courant reports one resident woke up to about 5 feet of water in his basement. Out in the street, another person reported seeing toilet paper and feces floating around in the water, according to the Courant.
Metropolitan District Commission crews determined that the flooding of Linbrook Road may be due to a “sewer blockage in the area,” according to We-Ha.com. MDC crews responded to the scene and set up a system to pump the water out of the road, according to We-Ha.com.
