WATCH: West Hartford Cops Go From Intern To Officer In A Year
Two new WHPD officers were recent college interns at the department and have, now, graduated from the police academy.
WEST HARTFORD, CT — Two of West Hartford's finest have just graduated from the police academy, proving that one can go from the West Hartford Police Department's college academy program to the force.
The WHPD Friday announced the graduation of offiers Caleb Preato and Alexis Marcelo, who attended the department's WHPD College Academy/Insternship Program.
"In just over a year, they traded in their college academy internship uniforms for WHPD blues," wrote the WHPD.
