Enjoy West Hartford's Art Trail This Saturday

19 artists at five different West Hartford addresses will have all sorts of arts and crafts for sale this Saturday.

WEST HARFORD, CT — Those who enjoy a Saturday looking for good yard sales might enjoy an event this Saturday being put on by local artists.

Only, instead former possession for sale, those inviting visitors to their front steps are selling their personal creations.

The WeHa Artists Emporium on Saturday, Oct. 15, is hosting its Fall Art Trail, whereby participating members open their front lawns for visitors to come by an see what they make.

The Art Trail operates from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., with a rain date of Sunday, Oct. 16., at five locations featuring the work of 19 local artists.

In addition to the sales of arts and crats, there will be raffles, live music and, even, tarot card readings for folks.

As for the art, a diverse array of artistic talents will be on display and for sale, such as pottery, prints, jewelry, stained glass as well as photography, paintings on wood and mixed-media.

Guests should just plug in some GPS addresses and enjoy the day.

Addresses that will be serving as hosts for the event are: 35 North Quaker Lane; 23 Farnham Road; 45 Griswold Drive; 70 Ballard Drive; and 111 Foxcroft Road.
