WeHa Forum To Help Seniors Avoid Scammers
A state banking official will be at the Bishops Corner Senior Center in West Hartford to help seniors keep their money from scam artists.
WEST HARTFORD, CT — A local commission that delves into senior citizens issues is hosting a special presentation next week that will help seniors avoid scammers after their wallets.
The West Hartford Senior Citizens Advisory Commission meets Tuesday, March 19, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Bishops Corner Senior Center, 15 Starkel Road, West Hartford.
While guests are welcome to the full meeting, at 11 a.m. the commission will ohst a special presentation from CT Department of Banking Outreach Coordinator Kathleen Titsworth.

There, Titsworth is expected to talk about how seniors can protect their money from scam artists looking to exploit them and/or steal their identity.
The event is free, but registration in advance is requested.
