The class on Wednesday, Jan. 10, will help seniors learn physical and mental actions to neutralize attackers.
WEST HARTFORD, CT — Sadly, one of the biggest targets of criminals and attackers is senior citizens.
But a program on Wednesday, Jan. 1o, at the Bishop Corner Senior Center, 15 Starkel Road, West Hartford, will give local seniors a chance to learn a thing or two about self-defense and increase the odds in their favor.
The free program will take place from 1 to 2 p.m. and, according to town officials, the goal of the program is to utilize the physical and mental tools to help seniors cope with any problems they may encounter.
