WeHa Library To Take A Look At 'Lobstah'

The West Hartford Public Library is hosting an award-winning travel author who will discuss the culinary scene of Maine (and lobster).

WEST HARTFORD, CT — What is more "New England" than lobster?

And what New England state comes to mind when you think about lobster? Maine.

The West Hartford Public Library next week is hosting a slideshow and author program featuring award-winning travel author Mike Urban, who has written six books about the food of New England.

Urban's latest literary foray is called "Unique Eats and Eateries of Maine."

The program in West Hartford is Wednesday, March 6, at 6:30 p.m. at the Noah Webster Library, 20 S. Main St.

There, the regular contributor to Yankee Magazine, Connecticut Magazine, and several other publications, will show a slideshow about Maine's culinary scene and discuss his book.

Following the presentation, Urban will be signing and selling copies of the book.

"You’re guaranteed to leave with a craving for lobster and so much more from New England’s most popular foodie destination," wrote the library in an announcement.
