WeHa PD Swears In Two New Officers

Both rookie cops are undergoing intensive academy training in Milford.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — The ranks of West Hartford's finest grew by two last week with the WHPD swearing in two new members.

The WHPD hosted a swearing-in ceremony for officers Daniel L. Hopkins and Darrel C. Dublin.

While officially members of the department, the two rookies have some serious training to accomplish before they hit the streets and both are attending the state's police academy in Milford.

"Both officers shared that they are excited and eager to start their career in law enforcement and the department is grateful to have them join our ranks," wrote the WHPD.

After academy training, the officers will have field training in West Hartford before, officially, being assigned beats.
