WeHa Pools Open Just In Time For Heat Wave
With a heat wave expected next week, locals have plenty of places to swim outdoors as West Hartford's public pools open Sunday, June 15.
WEST HARTFORD, CT —Just in time for next week's expected heat wave, the Town of West Hartford Thursday announced the town's outdoor pools will open on Sunday, June 15.
The town has four outdoor public swimming pools located at four parks in town.
They are:

• Beachland Pool, 847 Quaker Lane, West Hartford.
• Fernridge Pool, 567 Fern St., West Hartford.

• Kennedy Pool, 160 Oakwood Ave., West Hartford.
• Eisenhower Pool, 13 Sheep Hill Drive, West Hartford.
With temperatures expected to exceed the 90s next week and school being out for summer, the pool openings can't come soon enough for many.
The pools will remain open through Aug. 18.
Beachland, Eisenhower, Fernridge, and Kennedy Parks' outdoor pools will open for the season on Saturday, June 15.
