WeHa Program To Explore Impact Of Native Americans
A special forum will take place on Monday, Nov. 27, at West Hartford Town Hall.
WEST HARTFORD, CT — This time of year, the legacy of Native Americans always seems to move to the forefront of the national psyche as families break bread for Thanksgiving.
Upon the completion of the holiday weekend, the Town of West Hartford is hosting a forum on Monday, Nov. 27, that takes a look at the historical impacts of Native American culture.
Called "What does it mean to be Native or Indigenous in America?," the forum is from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at West Hartford Town Hall's Room 314, 50 S. Main St., West Hartford.

It is being conducted in conjunction with Native American Heritage Month, which is in November.
The event will feature a panel of area experts on Native American affairs and it will be moderated by local resident Stephan Revar.
