WeHa To Showcase Black-Owned Businesses

The annual Black Business Expo is Saturday, Feb. 17, at West Hartford Town Hall.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — February's celebration of Black History Month continues this Saturday in West Hartford with a business exposition dedicated to showing what Black-owned businesses have to offer.

Folks are invited to join the West Hartford African American Social and Cultural Organization (WHAASCO) on Saturday, Feb. 17, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the West Hartford Conference Center in West Hartford Town Hall, located at 50 South Main St.

The organization is hosting the Black Business Expo, "a vibrant celebration dedicated to honoring and promoting the achievements of black-owned businesses within the West Hartford community."

The community is encouraged to attend the free event and show support for the diversity of talents and entrepreneurship within the community.

There will be an opportunity to purchase food, products, and services.

It will also feature music played by DJ B Davis.
