Webster House's 'Holiday Market' In WeHa: What You Need To Know
The event Dec. 1-3 will feature several commemorative, holiday collectibles for sale from the museum as well as local vendors.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — The town's most historic location will soon be a place to purchase some memorable holiday gifts for loved ones starting Friday, Dec. 1.
That's when the Noah Webster House & West Hartford Historical Society at 227 S. Main St. will host the fourth annual Holiday Market, with guests given the opportunity to support several local small business owners.

"The West Hartford Gift Shop located within the museum has been working all year to develop relationships that support local artists and makers," wrote the museum officials in a statement.
"You will have the opportunity to find the best gifts for family and friends while also supporting small, local businesses this holiday season."

More than 20 local vendors will be set up throughout the museum offering a wide range of art, crafts and handmade gift items.
The Holiday Market will be open for shopping on Friday, Dec. 1 from 5 to 8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday, December 2-3 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The West Hartford Gift Shop is the anchor vendor at the Holiday Market and will have many products available, including the new cozy West Hartford and Connecticut sweaters and scarfs, the Julia Gash collection, featuring the town’s most iconic features and the places that make the town unique.
The gift shop also carries a selection of literary-themed items including scarves, notecards, and drinkware.
The 2023 limited-edition West Hartford Collectible holiday ornament featuring the gazebo in the Helen S. Kaman Rose Garden located in Elizabeth Park will be available for purchase.
A limited number of ornaments are available and they can be pre-ordered at westhartfordgiftshop.com.
Ornaments may be picked up at the Holiday Market.
Meanwhile, artisans will be showcasing their artwork in many categories including jewelry, candles, pottery, notecards, woodworking pieces, fiber arts and so more.

No registration for the market is required, but the museum suggests a $5 donation upon entry, which helps support museum educational initiatives.
The Noah Webster House & West Hartford Historical Society preserves the birthplace of Noah Webster, the founding father, educator, author, and lexicographer (Webster's Dictionary).
