West Hartford Art Show Promises Food, Music ... And Art

WEST HARTFORD, CT — Folks looking for a weekend of good art, good food, and good music may want to check out the West Hartford Art League's annual Juried Fine Art Festival this weekend.

The event will take place Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 28-29, at the arts organization grounds at 37 Buena Vista Road, West Hartford.

It will feature 34 artists who will be on our grounds selling their work.

And, according to event organizers, it will feature everything from painting, pottery, fiber, photography, drawing, collage, and mixed media, among other forms of art.

The arts celebration will also have live music from noon to 3 p.m. on both days, food and drink, and a "Kids Corner" full of children's activities on both days from noon to 2 p.m

It will all take place rain or shine, with early forecasts for the weekend looking good for the event.
