WH Building Department To Close For Online Permit Training

WEST HARTFORD, CT — Soon, West Hartford building permits and other permits will be available online.

But before that can happen at the planned Monday, Dec. 5 unveiling, West Hartford staffers still have some training to do.

The town's building inspection division will go live with its new CityView online permitting system early next month.

Staff members, however, have to get through three training sessions that will require the office to be closed.

The following days will be impacted by those closures:

• On Tuesday, Nov. 15, the office will be closed all day.

• On Wednesday, Nov. 16, and Wednesday, Nov. 23, the office will be closed in the morning but resume operations from 1 to 3 p.m.

During the closures, building permit applications may be dropped off at the Customer Service Desk in the West Hartford Town Hall lobby.

West Hartford Town Hall is located at 50 S. Main St.
