West Hartford CCSU Grad Earns President's Award

WEST HARTFORD, CT — A Central Connecticut State University graduate from West Hartford recently earned a major Central Connecticut State University honor upon getting her degree.

Miriam Lopez-Cruz of West Hartford earned her nursing degree last week and the President's Citation Award at CCSU, which is located in New Britain.

Central selected seven students to receive the President’s Citation Award, presented annually to seniors nominated by faculty and staff.

It recognizes students’ accomplishments and contributions to the university, including leadership, student success, and community engagement activities.
