WEST HARTFORD, CT — For local theater lovers and performers in the West Hartford Summer Arts Festival's production of "Something Rotten," COVID-19 can be listed among those things with a foul stench.

That's because an outbreak of the coronavirus, which is seeing a variant pick up steam this summer, has hit the local theater scene, according to the production.

As a result, what was originally planned to begin Saturday, July 23, will now start on Wednesday, July 27 at Conard High School, 110 Beechwood Road.
