West Hartford Drunk Motorist Hits Cop Car, Takes Off, Police Say
Police say the woman was intoxicated when she hit the police officer's vehicle.

First, Farmington police say a motorist hit a police cruiser. Second, the motorist didn’t stop and took off. Third, the motorist was allegedly intoxicated.
It all happened yesterday in Farmington, where police say West Hartford’s Jennifer Newton, 28, allegedly drove into a police cruiser whose lights were on and the officer was conducting a traffic stop, News 8 reports.

Newton then kept going and was pulled over a short time later, police said, and now she is due in court on Christmas Eve facing several charges including a DUI.
