WEST HARTFORD, CT — Local police are looking for a 17-year-old girl from West Hartford described as an "endangered runaway," according to a Silver Alert early Thursday morning.

According to the alert, sent out at 3:32 a.m., West Hartford police are looking for Michaela Leopizzo, 17, who is described as a white female with brown hair and brown eyes.

Police said she stands 5-feet-8-inches tall and weighs 150 pounds.

She was last seen wearing a black shirt, gray leggings and black slippers, according to the alert. Leopizzo has been missing since Wednesday, police said.
