West Hartford High School Offers Grief Counseling as It Mourns Loss of Student

Principal Dan Zittoun expressed his deepest sympathy and support to the family of the student.

WEST HARTFORD, CT – Students were informed Friday morning that a member of the Hall High School family had passed away, the Hartford Courant reported.

The student, who was not identified by the school, was a tenth-grader who met an “untimely death,” according to the Hartford Courant. Parents and students were provided with the essential facts of the death in a letter from the principal.

School psychologists, as well as counselors and social workers were available to students throughout the day, the Hartford Courant reported. Principal Dan Zittoun expressed his deepest sympathy and support to the family of the student.
