WEST HARTFORD, CT — Kids and teens looking to flex their entrepreneurial muscles will be at Blue Back Square in West Hartford Saturday for a very unique market.

West Hartford-based Buzz ELM Wednesday announced its second Pop-Up Kids Market, a kid and teen only vendor market, will take place on Saturday, Oct. 15, outdoors at Blue Back Square in West Hartford from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (Rain date: Sunday, Oct. 16).

Blue Back Square is located at 65 Memorial Road.

The Pop-Up Kids Market will provide young entrepreneurs the opportunity to create, market and sell their very own products, according to event organizers.

The first Pop-Up Kids Market took place Feb. 1, 2020 in West Hartford Town Hall, selling out all vendor spots and welcoming nearly 2,000 customers.

Buzz ELM has already received many applications and confirmed 78 kid vendor booths so far.

From self-made products to promote positivity and kindness through the creation of T-shirts, jewelry, journals, posters and decals to wooden lanterns, baked goods and framed artwork, the event will be a display of kid’s original ideas and business endeavors.

"We encourage people to come to the market and shop the amazing talent of our participating entrepreneurs." said Elyse Fox, a West Hartford mom and an event organizer. “You are sure to be impressed. ”
