West Hartford To Host Women’s Small Business Breakfast Panel Next Week

The event is in honor of Women's History Month, and it will feature a panel of local female entrepreneurs talking about their businesses.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — The West Hartford Office of Economic Development and the Office of Employee Development & Community Engagement will host a panel discussion featuring locally owned women business owners on March 19 as part of Women's History Month programming.

The event, titled the 3rd Annual Women’s Small Business Breakfast, is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. and will focus on the role of mentorship and support networks in helping entrepreneurs overcome barriers and grow their businesses.

It will take place in the West Hartford Town Hall auditorium, 50 S. Main St., West Hartford.

Town officials say the gathering aims to highlight the experiences of women entrepreneurs in West Hartford and foster connections among business owners, community members, and local leaders.

The free event will take place on Wednesday, March 19, with a continental breakfast from 9 to 9:30 a.m., followed by a panel discussion from 9:30 to 11 a.m. A question-and-answer session will run from 11 to 11:30 a.m.

Residents who cannot attend in person can watch the panel discussion live on West Hartford Community Interactive (WHCi), the town’s public access channel. The livestream will be available on Comcast Channel 5, Frontier Channel 6098, and WHCI’s YouTube channel.

Town organizers say the event is intended to spotlight the impact of women-owned businesses in West Hartford while encouraging mentorship and collaboration within the local business community.
