Child About To Enter Kindergarten? Attend Special West Hartford Forum

The West Hartford School System is hosting special program later in January for parents/guardians of soon-to-be kindergartners.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — As much as local parents wish it could slow down a bit, their children are growing up and one of life's first major milestones is kindergarten.

On Monday, Jan. 23., the West Hartford School System is hosting a registration event for parents or caregivers of children who will enter kindergarten for the 2023-24 school year.

The registration/information session is for parents/guardians of children who will turn 5 years old prior to Jan. 1, 2024.

It will take place Monday, Jan. 23, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the West Hartford Town Hall Auditorium, 50 S. Main St., West Hartford.

There, parents/guardians will learn more about kindergarten in West Hartford, the registration process and ways to help prepare their children for school.
