West Hartford K-9 Team Voted 'Hero of 2014' for New England

Officer Lazure and K-9 Jett will be honored at Fenway Park before an upcoming Red Sox game.

The votes are in and West Hartford K-9 Jett and Officer Tom Lazure were selected as the K-9 Hero of 2014 for New England. The duo will be honored at Fenway Park on July 27.

Congratulations to K-9 Jett, and Officer Lazure, for taking 1st place as the K-9 Hero of 2014 for all of New England! Today the K9 team was notified by the Law Enforcement Officer’s Association that they were the “peoples’ choice” for this prestigious award. The team will be honored, along with the 5 runner-up K9 teams, on the Red Sox home field at the July 27th game.
