West Hartford Library To Host Special Kids Fun Run This Weekend
Children ages 2-12 can participate in the West Hartford Library's Book It! Fun Run.
WEST HARTFORD, CT — Young runners will have a chance to get active this weekend when the West Hartford Public Library hosts its annual Book It! Kids Fun Run at Sterling Field.
The event will take place Saturday, July 11, at Sterling Field, adjacent to Charter Oak International Academy, 356 Price Blvd., and is open to children ages 2 to 12 and their caregivers.
The morning will feature three age-appropriate races:

- Toddler Dash (100 meters): 10 a.m.
- Quarter-mile race: 10:15 a.m.
- 1-mile race: 10:30 a.m.
All registered participants will receive a special gift.
The program is funded by the West Hartford Library Foundation.
