West Hartford Macy's Announces Earlier 'Black Friday' Opening
Macy's plans on opening its stores at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving.

The Black Friday festivities got started early for several stores last year with many opening on Thanksgiving night instead of the morning after.
Macy’s is planning on taking it a step further by announcing that its stores will open at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving — two hours earlier than last year.
While most people are thinking more about Halloween than Thanksgiving, shoppers outside the West Hartford Macy’s weren’t overly excited about the news of the earlier opening.
