West Hartford Man Accused of Sexually Assaulting Minor
Police arrested the man on a warrant at his home.
A West Hartford man has been charged with the sexual assault of a minor.
West Hartford police arrested Steven Contreras, 21, of 37 Crosby Street, on a warrant at his home on Feb. 7.
Police declined to provide more information on the arrest because it deals with a juvenile victim.

Contreras was charged with first-degree sexual assault, injury or risk of injury or impairing morals, first-degree unlawful restraint, second-degree strangulation, second-degree harassment and second-degree threatening.
Contreras was held on a $1.75 million surety bond and is due in court on Feb. 19.
