West Hartford Man Named Sotheby’s Realty’s Manager of the Year

WEST HARTFORD/AVON, CT — West Hartford resident Alex Ohlandt, brokerage manager for William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty’s Avon and Glastonbury offices, recently earned a major company honor.

Ohlandt was named the company’s Manager of the Year.

This recognition marks Ohlandt's first time receiving the honor and the first win for his brokerage location.

Ohlandt manages the firm's operations in Hartford County.

He stated that he was honored to receive the recognition, noting that it represents years of hard work.

The Avon office opened in 2018 with a small team, and Ohlandt expressed satisfaction with its growth.

His leadership philosophy focuses on agent development and long-term business growth, prioritizing quality over quantity.

Ohlandt said his goal is to help each agent scale their business, increase their average price point, and grow in a way that is sustainable and meaningful.

Ohlandt resides in West Hartford with his family.

He is originally from New York and is an active golfer and skier.

He also serves as a board member for West Hartford Youth Lacrosse and has coached in the program for the past seven years.
