West Hartford Man Shot, Killed In Hartford

HARTFORD, CT — A West Hartford man was shot and killed in a double-shooting in Hartford on Thursday afternoon, according to multiple reports.

FOX 61 reports Ross Stone, 35, of West Hartford, was shot in the head and was unresponsive at the scene in the area of Garden Street and Pliny Street in Hartford.

Another victim, 25-year-old Elijah Adorno of Hartford, suffered several gunshot wounds to his legs and stomach and is listed in stable condition after undergoing surgery, according to FOX 61.

NBC Connecticut reports Hartford Police responded to a ShotSpotter activation and multiple 911 calls reporting the shooting shortly after 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Police said the shooting may have been a targeted attack, according to NBC Connecticut.
