West Hartford Man's Slap Leads to Charges in Naugatuck: Police
Police said they were called to a local residence for a reported domestic disturbance.

NAUGATUCK, CT — A male juvenile and a West Hartford man were charged after being involved in a family disturbance in Naugatuck, police said.
Police said at 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 11 officers responded to a domestic disturbance between family members. During an argument a male juvenile kicked the victim in her stomach, police said.
When the father intervened, Dmitry Kalinin, 27, of Hilltop Road in West Hartford, became involved and slapped the father, police said.

The juvenile was charged with breach of peace and released to a parent. Kalinin was charged with disorderly conduct and released on a promise to appear in court.
