The 36-year-old executive chef claimed the grand champion title after winning a five-week challenge featuring 16 previous winners.

Editor's note: In case you missed it from earlier this week...
WEST HARTFORD, CT — West Hartford native Adam Greenberg, 36, became a repeat champion, and the winner of a $50,000 grand prize, by claiming the finale of the Food Network's "Chopped Champions" on Tuesday, according to the Hartford Courant.
The Courant reports Greenberg, the executive chef at Barcelona's Washington, D.C., also won the “Chopped” title in 2015 and returned for this year’s five-week “Chopped Champions” series that featured 16 winners from previous seasons.
After being crowned the “Chopped” champion again, Greenberg said it was a “surreal” feeling.
“It’s one of those moments you just realize it’s going to kick in at some point on my drive home or some point,” Greenberg said via the Food Network blog. “… This is by far the coolest thing that’s ever happened to me. It’s incredible.”
