West Hartford Now Largest Town in New England
A recent vote in Framingham has left West Hartford with the title of New England's largest town.
WEST HARTFORD, CT - A recent vote in Framingham has left West Hartford with the title of New England’s largest town, as reported by Wicked Local.com.
Framingham, long-recognized as the largest town in the state, recently voted to become a city, according to Wicked Local. West Hartford will assume the title beginning in January.
The vote in Framingham, which took place April 4, ended with a less than one percent difference in approval, Wicked Local reported. West Hartford’s new title could change however, as opponents to the decision in Framingham are considering filing for a recount.
