West Hartford PD Promotes Trio To New Ranks
A promotional ceremony for the three law enforcers took place earlier this month.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — West Hartford's finest recently saw three public servants promoted to new duties within the West Hartford Police Department.
The WHPD announced the promotion of three law enforcers to higher rankings.

They are:
• Sgt. Ross Friedman, who was promoted to lieutenant and will be assigned to the Patrol Division.

• Ofc. Merrick Forader was promoted to detective and will be assigned to the Community Support Unit.
• Animal Control Officer Kimberly Gulino was promoted to the supervisor of the Animal Control Division.
The trio was recently honored at a promotion ceremony.
"Congratulations to Lt. Friedman, Det. Forader, and ACO Supervisor Gulino on your accomplishments," wrote the WHPD. "We know you will serve the town well in your new roles."
