West Hartford PD Swears In Trio Of New Officers

They will officially begin training at the police academy on May 19.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — West Hartford's police force grew by three Tuesday, with the West Hartford Police Department swearing in three new men in blue.

The trio took the oath and prepared to embark on their rigorous training program to prepare for work on the beat.

New to the WHPD are officers Justice Wells, Evan Barbara and Christian Montesdeoca.

The WHPD said the new officers will begin training at the New Britain Police Academy on May 19.

"All three officers voiced excitement towards serving the Town of West Hartford," wrote the department via social media. "Congratulations on your new career and welcome to the WHPD family."
