West Hartford Police to Host 'Coffee, Cops & Coin Drop' for Special Olympics
West Hartford police will host the special fundraiser for Special Olympics Connecticut this weekend at a local eatery.
WEST HARTFORD, CT — Residents will have an opportunity to meet West Hartford police officers while supporting Special Olympics Connecticut during a community fundraiser this weekend.
The West Hartford Police Department will host Coffee, Cops & Coin Drop on Sunday, Aug. 2, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at DORO Marketplace, 1253 New Britain Ave.
The event will offer complimentary coffee while giving residents a chance to meet members of the police department and learn more about their work in the community.

Donations collected during the event will benefit Special Olympics Connecticut, helping support athletes throughout the state.
Thanks to DORO Marketplace, attendees who make a donation will also be entered into a raffle for gift cards.
