West Hartford Police Investigating 'Untimely' Death

Police said a 65-year-old woman died after a fall from a window at an assisted living facility.

West Hartford Police are investigating the “untimely” death of a 65-year-old woman at an assisted living facility on Monday night.

Lt. Stoneburner said units were dispatched to the Saint Mary’s Home on a report that a female resident of the facility had jumped or fallen out a fourth-floor window.

Upon arrival, units located the 65-year-old resident unresponsive outside on the ground directly below a fourth-floor window.

Police said the woman was presumed dead at the scene and foul play is not suspected.

“There is nothing suspicious about this case, however, we are still investigating,” Stoneburner said.
