West Hartford Police Lieutenant Cleared Of Violating Sexual Harassment Policy: Report
The lieutenant was accused of sexually harassing a female officer.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — An investigation found that West Hartford Police Lt. Eric Rocheleau did not violate the department’s sexual harassment policy following accusations that he sexually harassed a female officer and created a hostile work environment, according to the Hartford Courant.
The Courant reports that while Rocheleau was cleared of violating the department’s policy, the investigation found "instances where professional boundaries were blurred." (To sign up for West Hartford breaking news alerts and more, click here.)
Rocheleau, a 19-year veteran who most recently served as the department’s Public Information Officer, was transferred to the traffic division after the investigation was complete, according to the Courant.
