West Hartford Schools Seek Pre-K Applications
The applications are for a lottery system that will determine which local children can attend pre-K in West Hartford schools.
WEST HARTFORD, CT — Local parents/guardians have some work to do if they want their children to be able to participate in the West Hartford School System's pre-kindergarten program.
That's because the local school district, as of Monday, is now collecting applications for the random lottery process that determines which children can attend for these highly sought-after slots.
Pre-K programs are at Charter Oak International Academy, Florence E. Smith STEM School and Webster Hill School.

Applicants must live in West Hartford and be 3 or 4 years old on or before Jan. 1, 2024 for programs at Charter Oak, Smith and Webster Hill.
Webster Hill and Smith schools will now be accepting applications for 3-year-olds.
