West Hartford Public Schools Ranked Among the Best in Connecticut

The national survey by Niche.com ranked the district No. 16 overall while Conard and Hall High also earned high marks.

West Hartford Public Schools has been ranked as the 16th best public school system in Connecticut, according to the 2015 rankings released by Niche, a national online educational and neighborhood ranking service.

Additionally, Conard High School and Hall High School were ranked among the best high schools in the state. Conard was 11th and Hall came in at No. 20.

Niche’s Best Public School Districts survey ranked 8,738 school districts based on dozens of key statistics and 4.6 million opinions from 280,000 students and parents. A high ranking indicates that the district contains great schools with exceptional teachers, sufficient resources, and a diverse set of high-achieving students who rate their experiences very highly. The West Hartford district received grades of A in the areas of academics, health and safety, teachers, extracurriculars and activities, student culture and diversity, sports and fitness; a B+ for resources and facilities, and a 4 out of 5 in the parent/student overall experience survey.
